Attic Insulation Installer

The Insulation & HVAC Installer plays a critical role in delivering high-quality energy efficiency installations under the Austin Energy Multifamily Rebate Program. This role focuses primarily on attic insulation and duct sealing, while also assisting in HVAC tune-ups and system verification as needed.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in residential or multifamily construction, is detail-oriented, and works well in both team and independent environments.Compensation:

$20 - $26 hourlyResponsibilities:

Install insulation materials (blown-in, batt, or spray foam) in attics and walls following program standards.

Perform duct sealing, air sealing, and light weatherization tasks to improve energy efficiency.

Assist the HVAC team with the installation of air conditioning systems, mini-splits, or air handlers when required.

Safely operate ladders, blowers, vacuums, and other insulation tools.

Ensure all work meets Austin Energy rebate program specifications and quality standards.

Protect client property by using drop cloths, floor savers, and cleanup procedures.

Document all completed work accurately, including photos and material usage logs.

Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections to verify system performance.

Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean and organized condition.

Follow company safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and CG Service Pros Code of Ethics.Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

Valid Texas Drivers License and clean driving record.

Ability to pass background and drug screening.

1+ years of experience in insulation, weatherization, or HVAC installation preferred.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics and crawl spaces.

Comfortable working in hot or confined environments.About Company
