Maintenance Team Member

The Ocean Community YMCA Naik Family Branch located in Mystic, CT is seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Maintenance Staff Member to help ensure our facility is clean, safe, and welcoming for members and staff. Job Details:

Hours: M-F 1pm-8pm

Part-time, non-exempt

Salary range: $16.35-17.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas

Light maintenance tasks such as trash removal, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and restocking supplies

Ensure safety and cleanliness of indoor and outdoor spaces

Support facility operations and respond to maintenance needs as they arise

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior custodial or maintenance experience a plus

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
