Director of Central Intake (Skilled Nursing Admissions)

Laurel Healthcare is recruiting for the key position of Director of Central Intake covering our Central, Ohio facilities.

This role is a newly created position due to organizational growth and will be based out of corporate headquarters in Westerville, Ohio.\n Join us with an attractive benefits offering:\n\nCompetitive pay\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\n401K with matching funds\nLife Insurance\nEmployee discounts\nTuition Reimbursement\nStudent Loan Reimbursement\n\n Key Responsibilities of the Director of Central Intake role include:\n\nDrive the central intake / admissions process and support census growth for facilities in the Columbus area.\nSupervise Central Placement Specialists while working closely with our external marketing and hospital liaisons.\nProvide clients (prospective residents, their families, and referral sources) with facility and program specific information.\nEvaluate and assess potential patients for clinical appropriateness and placements into one of our skilled nursing facilities\nHelp to supervise the admissions process at the building level and ensure proper admission documentation.\nParticipate in the facility specific sales and marketing team events and plans as needed.\n\n Requirements:\n\nPrior experience in an Admissions Director position in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)\nAssociates degree or higher is preferred\nRN or LPN preferred\nSolid computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and Point Click Care (PCC)\nWorking knowledge of federal & state regulations and reimbursement (Managed Care, Medicare, and HMOs)\n\n Ciena and Laurel Healthcare\n We are a provider of skilled nursing, subacute, rehabilitative, and assisted living services dedicated to achieving the highest standards of care in five states including Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, and Indiana.\n We serve our residents with compassion, concern, and excellence, believing that every one of them is a unique person who deserves our best each day that we care for them.
