The RN assesses patient needs, develops a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, provides direct care, evaluates patient progress, and coordinates the care delivery throughout the patient’s episode.

The Med/Surg RN develops specialized skills in the area of cardiac care including telemetry monitoring.

The RN is accountable for patient and family education to assist in understanding self-care beyond hospitalization, promoting health and healing.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n Assess patient/family needs through active listening and analysis of data/information.\n Create individualized plans of care based on patient needs and family goals.\n Advocate for and protect the health, safety, and rights of the patient.\n Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and initiate improvements.\n Provide education to patients and families to support care and healing at home.\n Encourage collaboration and mutual respect among team members.\n Comply with infection prevention strategies and maintain nursing competencies.\n Build a therapeutic relationship with patients and families to enhance care delivery.\n\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n\n NYS RN Licensure Required\n Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS\n One (1) Year Experience serving in Med/Surg Environment as a Registered Nurse\n\n\nSchedule\n This position entails part-time shifts consisting of 2x12 hour rotations, including day, night, weekends, and holidays.\n\nWhy ARMStaffing?\n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
