Title: Cath Lab Technologist (IR experience preferred)

Shift: 4x10 Hour Days (07:00 - 17:30)

Schedule: Every other weekend & every other holiday

Call Requirement: 8-10 shifts per month, including 1-2 weekends

Block Scheduling: Can be accommodated Minimum Qualifications (4047)

Minimum 2 years of recent experience

Graduate of an accredited Radiography program

ARRT - Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

ODH Ohio Radiologic License

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Must be able to scrub cardiac cath and interventional radiology (IR) cases

Strong knowledge of:

Anatomy & physiology

Radiation protection

Positioning and exposure techniques

Medical terminology

Physics and imaging principles Job Summary

This role supports multiple interventional imaging departments, primarily Cath Lab and Vascular Interventional Radiology (VIR), with opportunities to assist in Electrophysiology (EP) and Neuro Interventional procedures.

Cath Lab Specific

Assist the Interventional Cardiologist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Perform scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating duties.

Knowledge of:

X-ray and hemodynamic monitoring systems

Coronary and peripheral anatomy

Sterile technique

Vascular Interventional (VIR) Specific

Assist the Interventional Radiologist with minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures.

Knowledge of:

Fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound imaging systems

Sterile technique and interventional protocols

Electrophysiology (EP) Specific

Assist the Electrophysiologist during invasive and non-invasive procedures.

Knowledge of:

Cardiac anatomy and arrhythmia monitoring

X-ray equipment and sterile field management

Neuro Interventional Specific

Assist the Neuro Interventional Radiologist with diagnostic and interventional neurovascular procedures.

Knowledge of:

Hemodynamic monitoring

Cerebral angiograms, coiling, AVM repair, and stroke interventions
