Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); every 3rd weekend, call once every 6 weeks
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
The CT Technologist will perform advanced CT imaging procedures in a high-acuity, Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Accredited facility. This role involves working primarily in the Emergency Department, handling both emergent and inpatient cases. The technologist will ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging, maintain patient safety, and support physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and musculoskeletal regions
Conduct special procedures, including brain perfusion and vascular CTA
Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning during scans
Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic charting system
Participate in call rotation and weekend coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience
Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, Ohio State License (ARRT CT preferred)
Experience with Siemens equipment and Epic charting (hard stop - required)
Trauma Level I experience required
Must be able to work in adult acute care, outpatient, emergency, and ICU settings
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a teaching hospital setting
Advanced ARRT (CT) certification preferred
