You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care, managing a dedicated team, and driving the home forward to increase occupancy and optimise performance.Key ResponsibilitiesTake full responsibility for the management and leadership of the home.
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and all quality standards.
Manage, motivate, and develop staff to deliver excellent care.
Increase occupancy and take a proactive approach to admissions.
Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
Implement best practice in care planning, risk management, and safeguarding.
Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and commissioners.
Drive performance through KPI monitoring, including sickness, occupancy, and quality outcomes.Person SpecificationProven experience in a Care Home Manager role or similar (medium-sized home). Level 5 qualification in Leadership/Management for Health & Social Care.
Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and residential care regulations.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Track record of increasing occupancy and improving operational performance.
Confident, proactive, and able to hit the ground running.
