Job Title: Distributor Sales Executive -
Function: Sales Department
Overall Job Objective (Purpose):
Role: Front line seller, Executioner of the company and distributor plans, Trainer of the merchandiser
Responsibility: DSE is responsible for selling volume, achieving RPS distribution and merchandising, and building goodwill in the distributor’s market.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Education: Graduate in any discipline (Engineers not preferred)
• Experience: 6 months – 1 year (FMCG background preferred)
• Language: English & local language fluency required
• Communication skills: Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
• Background: White collar, lower middle-class (needy) profile preferred
• Age: Below 28 years
• Salary: 17,000 CTC + TA + incentives ( 2,000– 12,000)
• Location – Motihari, Siwan, Maharajganj, Gopalganj, Sitamarhi (1 male in each location required)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Sales and Distribution
• Achieve assigned sales volume and distribution targets within the designated area.
• Ensure effective product placement and availability in all relevant outlets.
• Manage and expand product visibility through proper shelving and display execution.
• Planning and Execution
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales and productivity goals.
• Execute market coverage plans efficiently to reach all assigned stores and territories.
• Continuously monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust plans accordingly.
• Optimize route and store visit frequency to maximize sales impact while minimizing costs.
• Performance and Productivity
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales and productivity targets.
• Conduct effective sales calls and meetings to drive performance and engagement.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve market penetration.
• Reporting and Analysis
• Accurately record in-store performance data and provide timely sales and financial reports.
• Track competitive activities, pricing, and promotions and recommend responsive actions.
• Analyze results to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
• Business Development and Results
• Support promotional activities and marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and retailers to ensure long-term business success.
