Type: Full-Time Core Faculty Internal MedicineThe Opportunity

A well-established Internal Medicine Residency Program in Gainesville, Florida, in partnership with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine (UCF COM), is seeking experienced and passionate internal medicine physicians to join its core faculty team.

This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical practice with academic leadership, mentoring residents and medical students while working in a supportive, academically enriched environment.Qualifications

Board certified in Internal Medicine

Postgraduate clinical experience preferred

Prior teaching or chief resident experience a plus

Strong commitment to outpatient care and resident education

Comfortable leading clinic-only attending days and delivering lectures

Excellent communication, mentorship, and collaboration skills

Willingness to engage in scholarly activities, committee service, and didactic presentations

Minimal call responsibilities

Role includes 0.2 FTE administrative and 0.8 FTE clinical time

Immediate need (not open to 2026 graduates)Faculty Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor residents and medical students

Participate in curriculum development and academic leadership

Collaborate with UCF College of Medicine faculty to advance the academic mission

Engage in research, publications, and scholarly presentationsCompensation & Benefits
