Empire Vein & Vascular Specialists (EVVS) is a rapidly growing practice dedicated to delivering innovative, minimally invasive treatments for our patients. Our board-certified surgeons specialize in Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE), providing long-term pain relief and improved quality of life for patients suffering from knee osteoarthritis.

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our collaborative outpatient team. In this role, you will perform patient history and physicals, educate patients on treatment options, and provide ongoing follow-up care—helping patients achieve excellent outcomes. Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive initial patient assessments, including health histories and physical exams

Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed

Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Educate patients about minimally invasive procedures and ongoing care

Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system

Schedule and manage follow-up appointments

Serve as a knowledgeable resource for patients and team members regarding ongoing care and treatment protocols

Qualifications

Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant CA license

Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, preferably with orthopedic or pain management patients

Proficient in EHR documentation

Strong written and interpersonal communication skills

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities

Ability to work effectively within a team and follow established protocols
