Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Memphis, Tennessee (38104) – Tennessee nursing jobs

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: December 1, 2025

End Date: March 2, 2026

Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:00 - 17:00) or 5x8-hour shifts (shift may be discussed during interview)

Hours per Week: 40

Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1980 - $2120

On-Site Registered Nurse Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state (NLC guidelines apply; no pending licenses)

Must reside at least 100 miles from the healthcare facility

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience with prior travel nursing experience, or 3 years of OR experience without travel

At least 1 completed previous travel nurse assignment required

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

Current BLS certification (must remain valid throughout assignment)

Flu vaccination required (no exemptions permitted)

Cerner EMR charting experience preferred

Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays if assignment overlaps with Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients

Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols

Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with facility and healthcare regulations

Participate in on-call rotation as required (details provided during interview)

Float to similar units or nearby campuses within 20 miles as needed

Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling; block scheduling is not guaranteed
