ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Orthopedics for a travel nursing job in Lafayette, Louisiana.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: OrthopedicsDiscipline: RNStart Date: 12/08/2025Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, daysEmployment Type: Travel Opportunity:\n RN - Med Surg Orthopedic\n\n Job Details:\n • Must be charge capable with previous charge experience required\n• Minimum 2 years of orthopedic nursing experience required\n• EPIC charting system experience required\n• Care for patients with total joint replacements (knees, hips, shoulders), orthopedic spine procedures (ACDF, TILF), and other orthopedic surgeries including tendon repairs and revisions\n• Work with special equipment including bladder scanner, Hoyer lift, and orthopedic braces\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA certifications required)\n• No on-call requirements\n• May float to other in-patient units including rehab, post-op trauma, ortho neuro trauma, med-surg, oncology, and observation\n• First-time travelers not accepted\n• RTO restrictions: No RTO greater than 2 weeks\n• Block scheduling not accommodated\n• Must be over 65 miles from facility (local travelers not accepted)\n• Compact or Louisiana license required upon submittal\n• NURSYS reports required and must be up to date within 4 weeks of submission\n• Hurricane season assignment expectations from June 1 - November 30 with potential emergency team assignments\n\n Facility:\n This orthopedic specialty center focuses on providing comprehensive orthopedic care and surgical services.
