Description:

At the VELUX Group, we give you the chance to grow. To shape your own career. To work in an international environment. To be part of a company that leads the market in sustainable indoor living.

We offer you a world of opportunities – if you have the ability and the motivation to take them.

Are you an experienced IT Project Manager motivated to lead digital transformations and deliver impactful solutions? Are you skilled at identifying and implementing changes in ways of working? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Join our Delivery Excellence team within the global IT & Digital Enablement (IT&DE) organisation driving IT intake, execution, and ways of working across the VELUX Group.

What we offer

A unique opportunity where you can expect to engage with a diverse range of activities, e.g., leading IT initiatives such as implementing new standard systems and developing bespoke digital solutions, where close collaboration with business teams will be essential to identify and deliver optimal outcomes. You will also play a key role in driving and executing ways of working initiatives within IT&DE.

Your role will involve coordinating project participants, managing risks, and facilitating efficient delivery to ensure that complex initiatives progress smoothly. You will be responsible for maintaining consistency, transparency, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

If you're looking to make a difference, this is the place - in a team defined by knowledge sharing, a friendly tone, and mutual respect.

Your primary tasks will be to:

Lead the execution of multiple projects, ensuring clear goals, timelines, and ownership while coordinating efforts across teams and departments

Verify objectives and translate into actionable plans, and ensure efficient, standardized processes

Continuously identify and manage risks, facilitate problem-solving, and develop mitigation plans to improve delivery predictability

Maintain clear communication with senior leadership and stakeholders, providing regular status updates and serving as a central point of accountability

Identify, recommend and implement improvements in execution processes and ways of working, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and facilitate retrospectives to capture lessons learned

Contribute to, and advocate for, IT standardization towards a target application landscape

You will report to the Head of Delivery Excellence based at our Head Office in Hørsholm. As part of a global organization, we utilise our available technology to work virtually, but you can expect some limited travelling.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Project Management, IT Consulting, IT transformation, or similar roles.

The ideal candidate will have a solid history of managing IT delivery projects, driving improvements in ways of working, and ensuring effective execution within a matrix environment at a large enterprise organization. Experience working at a leading international IT consultancy firm is a plus.

This role requires solid organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on execution excellence, accountability, and results in changing environments.

Additionally, you have:

A master’s degree in a relevant field

Demonstrated ability to manage complex IT initiatives across multiple business units and stakeholder groups

Advanced leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coach teams and engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders

Engaged and solution-oriented, with a practical approach to identifying issues early and resolving them efficiently

Great analytical skills, with the ability to assess problems, implement effective mitigations, and uphold quality assurance standards

Proficiency in project management best practices, with technical skills and the ability to manage risk, time, and budget effectively

Experience in navigating a range of delivery frameworks, including but not limited to Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, IPMA, and Lean

Fluency in both spoken and written English
