Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Bank Project Worker at our OFSTED registered Young People Scheme, Victoria Road in Hartlepool.

The role of Bank Project Worker will include:

Regularly assessing the needs of customers by writing and updating support plans, and signposting access to education, training, and employment

Supporting customers in their day to day living i.e., with cooking and cleaning

Offering advice in relation to fulfilling tenancy conditions

Assisting customers with managing finances and welfare benefits

Encouraging social inclusion and helping customers to build their confidence, resilience, and self-esteem

Ensuring Sanctuary Supported Living delivers its safeguarding responsibilities

Skills and experiences:

Proven experience of working with vulnerable people

A positive approach to working with young people who have a range of needs

Good interpersonal and customer care skills, with an approachable attitude

Effective communication skills

Sound knowledge of action/support planning, key working, risk assessment and safeguarding

Ability to work on your own initiative

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar

NVQ3 in Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards
