THE ROLE The Signal Group is one of Australia’s largest staff identification and branded merchandise providers.
Based from our manufacturing facility and distribution centre in South-East Queensland, we service clients Australia wide, supplying customised name badges, personal and ID security solutions, awards, trophies, promotional products, workwear, apparel, headwear and signage The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of established clients that have an established range of products that are ordered through dedicated ordering portals.
The key focus of this role is to grow the client portfolio sales profitably through excellent service of existing business while pro-actively seeking sales growth opportunities in full branded solutions, including promo and uniforms.
Key responsibilities will include; Delivering exceptional customer service to assigned clients Responding to client needs including new item and quoted price requests.
Actively selling all services and products of The Signal Group to established and new clients.
Undertaking regular periodic account reviews with all assigned clients to evaluate performance and identify trends and opportunities.
Visiting clients to showcase new products and demonstrating Signal group sites and client portals.
Developing a strong understanding of the products and services offered by The Signal Group across all product lines.
Collaborating with the wider Sales team to identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Sharing client insights and feedback to assist in identifying opportunities to add value and enhance the client experience.
Facilitating a smooth client onboarding experience, including portals, account applications, and deposit payments Admin related to sales process.
Assisting with sales-related month end reporting.
YOUR BACKGROUND Previous sales support, administration, or account management experience Understanding of sales processes and account management.
Strong customer service, interpersonal & customer relationship skills.
Tech savvy and able to work across different systems including Outlook, ERP, e-commerce sites & CRM.
Previous experience is well considered but attitude & a determination to learn and grow is everything Energetic and organised with strong time management skills Curious with an enthusiasm to learn Dynamic & collaborative approach to problem solving.
