Role Summary

As the Backend Python Developer, you will lead backend development for both SaaS and on-premises deployments, working on performance, scalability, and integration challenges. You'll manage a small team of remote developers initially, with the potential to shift toward a project management focus as the team grows.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python

Implement SaaS and on-premises deployments for enterprise clients

Lead and mentor a small remote development team

Integrate with third-party APIs to extend platform capabilities

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (frontend, design, product)

Implement automated testing and CI/CD workflows

Ensure solutions meet performance, reliability, and security standards

Contribute to process improvements and technology best practices Ideal Candidate Profile

Strong backend development experience in Python

Experience with SaaS and on-premises deployments

Familiarity with Azure, C#, Qdrant, Solr

Leadership skills to guide remote developers

Strong project management capability
