Responsibilities
We are looking for a Product Applications Engineer I to join our team! This entry-level role is ideal for early-career engineers eager to build technical expertise, develop problem-solving skills, and contribute to impactful projects. You’ll support experienced engineers, learn core tools and processes, and begin applying engineering principles to support internal teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities
Technical Learning & Support
Assist in responding to technical inquiries and support requests under guidance from experienced engineers
Learn and apply internal tools, templates, and design resources
Contribute to routine engineering tasks such as design checks, data reviews, and drawing updates
Participate in project reviews, investigations, and documentation efforts
Collaboration & Communication
Communicate clearly with teammates and keep stakeholders updated on progress
Collaborate with engineering, sales, and product teams on defined project tasks
Help document lessons learned and update internal resources based on feedback
Professional Development
Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow through reliably
Seek feedback to improve work quality and understanding of project goals
Build awareness of field applications, product behavior, and customer needs
Process Awareness
Follow established processes and standards, asking questions when needed
Identify opportunities to improve templates, tools, or documentation
Practice accountability by meeting deadlines and proactively communicating challenges
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field
EIT certification preferred or in progress
0–2 years of relevant experience through internships, co-ops, or early career roles
Basic familiarity with engineering tools, technical drawings, and design principles
Skills & Competencies
Curious and eager to learn with a growth mindset
Clear communicator with strong attention to detail
Reliable and organized in completing assigned work
Collaborative team player who values shared success
Open to feedback and coaching for professional growth
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus
