Job Duties

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to optimize our production processes, improve efficiency and productivity, while still maintaining our high-quality standards. This role focuses on process creation and improvement, equipment and fixture design, production support, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, improve, and optimize manufacturing processes, workflow, fixtures and equipment.

Design or source tools, fixtures, jigs, and machinery to support production.

Conduct Analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency gains.

Assist in improving process capability and quality rates.

Identify and minimize environmental and safety impacts in manufacturing processes.

Provide daily manufacturing support and troubleshoot equipment and process issues.

Participate in new product launches and establish process parameters.

Collaborate with production, quality, and management teams to ensure operational success.

Perform offline programming for lasers, benders, and other manufacturing equipment as needed.

Minimum Education Required

5+ years of experience in a large organization manufacturing role.

Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering.

Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and quality systems. Certifications preferred.

Professional, organized, ethical, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills

Experience in a stainless steel tig welding, laser and orbital welding.

Ability to read and interpret product/process documentation.

Minimum Experience Required

MUST be ambitious and detail orientated!

Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement experience.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment specifically lasers, forming and welding.

Knowledge of offline programming for laser and bending equipment.

Exceptional organization, communication, and prioritization skills.

Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Adaptable to changing demands and unexpected events.

Experience with ERP systems and BOM’s structures.

Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling, file structures and design criteria.

Knowledge of ISO standards and implementation.
