Data Center Technician

Our client, a well recoginized Data Centor Integration service provider, is seeking a Data Center Technician. Location: Columbus, OH (Worthington/Lewis Center)

Position type: Contract-To-Hire.

Shift Information

This is a 2nd Shift Position supporting Cutovers and Migrations. The hours are 4 pm to 12:30 am M-F.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced technician with 2 or more years of experience workng in Datacenters, who possesses a blend of technical expertise and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a relevant role and ideally some experience in leadership.

The following qualities are essential:

Soft Skills: Excellent communication in English, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong email etiquette.

Technical Skills:

Experience with rack/stack operations.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and break-fix for switches, routers, and servers.

Experience in decommissioning cables and active gear.

Smart hands support capabilities.

Basic understanding of network protocols and data center operations.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate problem-solving skills.

Experience with cutovers or migrations is a plus
