Information Technology Specialist

As the IT Specialist in applications support you will maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with software applications to ensure they function optimally. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of software systems, and good communication abilities.

Essential functions

• Providing application support and help end-users with software navigation.

• Installing and configuring new software

• Monitoring performance and collaborating with other IT teams to solve problems.

• Provide VM Ware Support and ERP System support in IQMS.

• Install and update company software and hardware as needed.

• Provide support in network systems like Ubiquiti and Adtran.

• Insure proper back-ups are taken

• Monitor server health

• Mitigate ERP System technical issues.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A.S. or BS Degree Preferred (Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field) or proper industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA.

• Minimum 1-year prior experience

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365.

• Knowledge of Virtualization Technology

• Excellent Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Good time management and organizational skills

• Document system changes

• Effective communication skills

• Self-motivated

Physical Factors:

• Work is performed in an office and manufacturing environment.

Position Type:

• Monday-Friday (Must have flexibility with hours and be available for on call)
