Summary
To promote and support the strategic plan and mission of Southern Michigan Bank and Trust. Performs a variety of duties to provide outstanding customer service and to develop and retain customer relationships while explaining and delivering bank products and services. Directly supervising 1-20 employees. Maintain a profitable and efficient office and provide ongoing training and communication to staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Direct daily operational aspects of the branch
Prepare and allocate budgeted funds
Mentor, develop, and grow employees by providing training, coaching, developing, and motivation
Assess the local market and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
Develop and retain deposit growth
Promptly address employee and customer satisfaction issues

Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is primarily responsible for growing and maintaining deposit growth, resolving problems, and pursuing sales opportunities.
