Role Overview

As a Senior Manager in Data Management and Strategy for the Oil & Gas sector, you will be at the forefront of delivering data-driven insights and innovative solutions to our clients. This position requires a strategic leader who can navigate the complexities of data governance and modern data platforms, ultimately guiding our clients to enhance their operations and increase agility.

In this role, you will:

Design and apply methods to govern the entire lifecycle of data assets, focusing on protection and monetization.

Conduct maturity assessments on data management capabilities and develop tools and roadmaps for implementation, aligning data strategies with business objectives.

Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and value through our services.

Your Key Responsibilities

Develop resource plans and budgets for client engagements, ensuring effective management of engagement economics.

Create and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks, including policies and stewardship models.

Oversee Master Data Management (MDM) practices to ensure data consistency and discoverability.

Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards in collaboration with relevant teams.

Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes and maintain stakeholder confidence.

Design scalable and cost-effective data architectures to support client needs in business intelligence and advanced analytics.

Drive analytical model design, data pipelines, and visualizations to solve complex business challenges.

Communicate analytical findings effectively, using compelling data storytelling and visualizations tailored for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree in a technical field is preferred, along with prior consulting experience.

At least 8 years of experience in data analytics, governance, or strategy, ideally within the oil & gas sector.

Proven experience deploying analytics solutions across various oil & gas domains.

Strong knowledge of data governance, quality frameworks, and compliance standards.

Experience with data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, and platforms like Power BI and Tableau.
