We are currently seeking an RF Filters Engineer to develop RF filters for use in radios used for mobile network infrastructure from program start to end of life in the field. The ideal candidate is responsible for collaborating with both external filter suppliers and internal Nokia design teams.

Responsibilities

Define specifications and conduct testing with the radio group.

Evaluate technical proposals and summarize comparisons.

Create and track a project schedule, ensuring adherence to quality processes with suppliers.

Generate program documents and conduct design and data reviews at each phase, identifying risks and potential issues.

Test delivered filters in and out of the radio, addressing problems during certification and manufacturing.

Collaborate closely with filter and radio design teams.

International travel to supplier or factory locations may be required.

Attend early morning or late evening conference calls due to Nokia's global operations.

This role involves significant hands-on work, requiring presence in the office/lab. Qualifications

Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

Solid electrical and RF systems knowledge, including RF testing and equipment.

Understanding of filter performance and its interaction with radio blocks.

Strong project management skills: scheduling, tracking, and reporting.

Effective communicator in English for technical writing and presentations.

Self-motivated, organized, and proficient with computers; works well independently or in teams. Nice to have:

Prior experience as a Nokia intern or co-op is highly valued.

Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks is preferred.

Skilled in data mining and extracting insights from large datasets. About Us
