Utility Billing & Accounting Specialist

Fripp Island Public Service District is now Hiring for a Utility Billing & Accounting Specialist

This position will be responsible for the Island's utility billing operations with respect to water & sewer and other miscellaneous collections as well as accounting work performed in the Finance Department. This position performs utility billing, cash receipting and other accounting functions. This position will report to and directly work with Finance Director. This position will provide administrative assistance to Fripp Island Public Service District.

Education, Training, License and certification

Associate's degree in accounting or higher, business administration, or closely related field required, or a combination of equivalent education and work experience preferred.

3+ years of related experience in accounting related position.

2+ years of experience using Excel databases including proficiency in exporting, importing, and manipulating data to produce accurate and timely statistical reports.
