Location: Presidio of Monterey, CA

Clearance: Secret

Overview: Senior engineer specializing in Extreme Networks infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Architect, configure, and optimize LAN/WAN environments.

Troubleshoot major incidents and outages.

Lead security and performance enhancements.

Mentor junior engineers.

Maintain network inventories and diagrams.

Core Competencies:

Extreme Networks deployment and management

LAN/WAN engineering and optimization

Firewall, VLAN, TCP/IP, MPLS expertise

Mentorship and analytical skills

Requirements:

Education: BA/BS with 5+ years OR AA/AS with 7+ years.

Certifications: Extreme Networks Certification, CCNA+ level, IAT II.

Experience: 10+ years in enterprise networking.

Technical Screening:

TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, VLAN, VPN, MPLS.

Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco/Aruba/Ruckus wireless.

VMware NSX and advanced routing protocols.
