Position: MLT/MT

Location: Lab, Jane Wheatley Medical Building, at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky

Schedule: Full time position for Weekend Nights, Weekend Days, or Weekday Nights available.

PRN positions available

What You'll Do:

• Performs a wide range of laboratory procedures.

• Assists with instruction to students and new team members of lab procedures.

• Participates in required education, competencies, and annual training.

• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.

• Follows HIPAA compliance.

• Recognizes variation in test results and the ability to determine accuracy.

• Familiar with lab equipment, operation of equipment, and problem solving if needed.

• Follows all current and up to date lab procedures and policies.

What We're Looking For:

Associate or Bachelor's degree specializing as a Med Tech or Med Lab Tech.

ASCP, AMT, HEW, or equivalent certifications preferred but not required

NEW GRADS WELCOME

Standing and/or Walking for long periods

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced atmosphere

Maintain focus and follow complex protocols

Familiarity with equipment and testing procedures.

Lift over 35lbs
