Role: SDET Automation Development

Hard/Technical Skills
Required (non-negotiable)
B.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience of not less than 8 years
Experience managing/building test environments (basic)
Experience writing large/end-to-end test automation (advanced)
Understanding of test automation across all layers of the pyramid (i.e. what tests should be unit, integration, etc.) (intermediate)
Object-Oriented Programming with any language (prefer C# / Optionally Java) with Selenium (advanced)
Testing Web applications (advanced)
Ability to write SQL queries (basic)
Manual testing (advanced)
Experience with test activities in the SDLC, i.e. reporting bugs, triage, grooming stories, clarifying requirements, etc. (intermediate)
Test strategy and writing test plans, develop and triage valuable test scenarios from requirements (advanced)
BDD, ability to communicate test value in a business context in a Given-When-Then or similar format (intermediate)
Git (basic) Preferred (nice-to-have)
Development of tooling or Frameworks from the ground up for test automation or aiding development
CI/CD tools like Jenkins. includes experience with shell scripting & groovy- (Devops- Push the code)
Testing of both UI and API components of Web Application
Experience in cloud (AWS) - terraform, AWS Certifications, etc.
