Manufacturing Engineer – (Permanent Role)

Sterling, MA 01564

$100,000–$110,000 per year Direct Hire

Overview

Join a growing team where innovation meets precision manufacturing. We’re seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvements, manage capital and product launch projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and quality across operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead new product projects from concept through production, including cost analysis, DFM review, tooling design, and planning

Identify and implement Lean manufacturing techniques (5S, Kanban, Poka Yoke, TPM, etc.)

Reduce cost, scrap, rework, and setup time across equipment and processes

Develop and maintain production documentation packages

Troubleshoot tooling, machinery, and process issues to support quality and efficiency

Partner with New Product Development teams and report to the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (BSME, BSIE, BSGE, etc.)

5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, materials, and equipment

Proven experience leading capital and product projects from start to finish

Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Project management experience a plus

Schedule: Full-time Onsite

Employment Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Compensation: $100,000–$110,000 annually (based on experience)
