SQL and Tableau Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SQL and Tableau Expert to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in writing complex SQL queries, building advanced Tableau dashboards, and translating business requirements into data-driven insights. This role will play a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from large datasets.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

Create data models and conduct performance tuning to ensure efficient reporting.

Monitor data quality and resolve issues related to data integrity and accuracy.

Support ad hoc data requests and deliver high-quality insights in a timely manner.

Maintain documentation for dashboards, queries, and data definitions.

Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure alignment and accuracy. Required Skills & Qualifications:

7 years of experience in SQL development and Tableau reporting.

Expert-level proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, subqueries, window functions, etc.).

Hands-on experience in developing Tableau dashboards, calculated fields, parameters, filters, and level of detail (LOD) expressions.

Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.

Experience working with data from sources such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
