bank is seeking a Backend Java Developer to join a dynamic team focused on preventing and detecting fraud. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and microservices. This role involves working on an internal-facing system, ensuring compliance, and managing projects from inception to production deployment.
The team leverages AWS ECS, Fargate, and Lambdas to build and maintain scalable microservices. Candidates should have experience working in a cloud-native environment with strong backend development expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
Design and implement microservices architectures using AWS ECS, Fargate, and Lambdas.
Work on an internal-facing system that supports fraud prevention and detection operations.
Manage projects from development to production deployment, ensuring code quality and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and follow best practices.
Optimize and scale backend services to handle high-volume data efficiently.
Nice to Have: Exposure to ETL workflows using Python and PySpark for data processing.
Nice to Have: Experience with rules engines such as Camunda. Required Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS development.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST API development.
