Location: Remote (US Hours)

Duration: 12 Months (Contract, potential FTE conversion)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Citrix Cloud Engineer to join our Global Infrastructure Services team. This role blends architecture/design with hands-on engineering and support across on-prem and cloud-based Citrix environments. The engineer will play a critical role in addressing infrastructure gaps, supporting design changes, and driving stability in Citrix DaaS and NetScaler environments.

This position requires strong Citrix expertise (Storefront, DaaS, NetScaler) and the ability to operate in a global, collaborative environment with teams across the US, UK, and India.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, engineering, and implementation of Citrix DaaS (on-prem and cloud), StoreFront, and NetScaler solutions.

Support ongoing infrastructure field checks and close identified gaps within the first 90 days.

Collaborate with engineering teams on design changes in DaaS and NetScaler environments.

Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support for Citrix environments (versions 13.x required, 14.x preferred).

Assist in optimizing cloud deployments of Citrix DaaS; minimal Azure experience is acceptable.

Work closely with global teams across multiple time zones to ensure seamless operations.

Prepare documentation, implementation guides, and support materials as required.

Provide mentoring and technical guidance to other engineers.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Citrix engineering and architecture experience, including design, deployment, and support.

Expertise with Citrix StoreFront, Citrix DaaS (on-prem/cloud), and NetScaler.

Strong experience with Citrix version 13.x (14.x preferred).

Proven ability to work in blended roles covering both architecture and hands-on engineering.

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Flexibility to work US business hours (EST, CST, PST acceptable).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Citrix Federated Authentication Service (FAS).

Exposure to Azure cloud environments and Citrix deployments in the cloud.

Citrix certifications (CCP, CCA, CCE) are a plus.

Experience working in large, distributed enterprise environments.

Additional Information:

Work Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM US hours (time zone flexibility).

Contract Type: Contract role with potential for full-time conversion.

Remote: Fully remote during contract phase; FTE conversion may require presence near hub offices (Charlotte, Chicago, New York, New Jersey, Frisco TX, or other regional hubs).
