Job Title: Vacation Rental Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Vacation Rental Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and repairs of our vacation rental properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for providing exceptional service to our guests. This position requires a hands-on approach to repair and maintenance tasks, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with property owners, guests, and vendors.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry to ensure the properties are in good condition for guests.

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and property owners and address any issues in a timely manner.

- Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance needs and make recommendations for repairs or improvements.

- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to schedule repairs and maintenance work as needed.

- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, expenses, and inventory of supplies.

- Ensure properties are safe and comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.

- Communicate effectively with property management, cleaning teams, and guests to ensure a seamless and positive experience.

- Provide excellent customer service to guests and property owners by responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns in a professional and efficient manner.

- Participate in an on-call rotation to handle after-hours emergencies as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in a related field preferred.

- Prior experience in maintenance, construction, or related field is highly desirable.

- Strong technical skills and knowledge of basic maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, property owners, and vendors.

- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
