We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager (PM) Support located in Columbus, OH or Fairfax, VA that can operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment of a micro-cap publicly-traded company.
Position Summary
The Project Manager (PM) Support provides support and assistance to the Project Manager. The PM Support personnel consistently provides excellent customer service to accounts and represents client needs and goals to ensure quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Configuring the client's Intelligent Technology Management System (ITMS) site as needed (i.e., equipment updates, rate plan updates, cost center updates, system user maintenance).
Assist the PM's with:
Client communications, conflict resolution, and contract compliance on client deliverables.
The client's database: ensuring accuracy and assisting in preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for clients as requested.
The client's inventory: ensuring accuracy and assisting in building/updating inventory.
Reviewing client deliverables (i.e., Service Level Agreement [SLA], Key Performance Indicator [KPI], reports) to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
Client on-boarding/off-boarding.
Special Projects: establish, manage, and assign processes to ensure all parties have the necessary details.
Working across all WidePoint departments to assist the PM in providing strong team representation and setting proper client expectations based on contract.
Understanding WidePoint's capabilities and service offerings. Work directly with PM to effectively communicate all offerings to the client.
Working with PMs and customers to provide guidance and training on various offerings offered by WidePoint.
Accessing vendor and carrier portals to access invoices, customer service records, and device reports.
Working with developers in creating new ITMS database requirements and reports.
Assisting in establishing implementation project plans supporting client requirements.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
The minimum qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in a related field, including Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, is required.
Prior wireline or wireless telecommunication, accounting, and budgeting experience is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Strong attention to detail with organizational skills to work multiple tasks at once.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Experience with wireless telecommunication products and services.
Accounting and budgeting experience is a plus.
Professional demeanor as this is a customer-facing position.
U.S. Citizen Capable of Obtaining a Secret Security Clearance.
