Registered Nurse Job Details
Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Ohio nursing jobs)
Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse, On-Site
Start Date: December 1, 2025
End Date: March 2, 2026
Duration: 13-week travel RN contract
Hours per Week: 36-40 (Full-time nursing position)
Shift Options: Day/Evening rotating schedule; 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts (06:30-17:00, 06:30-19:00, 10:30-20:30). Schedule may vary by unit needs.
Call: Rotating call required (evenings, nights, weekends)
Weekend Coverage: Required as scheduled
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2480-$2550
OR RN Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room Registered Nurse experience
Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at submission)
Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
EPIC charting experience
Circulate and scrub experience in the operating room
Travel nursing experience preferred
Preferred: Experience in neuro, thoracic, ENT, orthopedic, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, robotics (Da Vinci), and oncology surgeries
Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
Two professional references (one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Circulate and scrub for a range of surgical specialties, including complex oncology procedures
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records
Participate in rotating call and weekend coverage as scheduled
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital protocols
Support and mentor less experienced nursing staff
