The Warehouse Assistant plays a key role in the daily operations of Oliver & Co’s distribution and storage facility. This position involves receiving, organizing, and dispatching furniture orders, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and product quality at every stage of the process. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and record incoming furniture shipments.

Safely load and unload delivery trucks using appropriate equipment.

Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure easy accessibility and accurate stock levels.

Prepare and package furniture items for delivery, ensuring protection against damage.

Assist in assembling furniture pieces when required for display or shipment.

Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

Coordinate with the delivery and logistics teams to ensure on-time dispatch and delivery.

Report damaged goods, discrepancies, or inventory shortages promptly.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or furniture handling preferred.

Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical labor.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good organizational and time-management

Dependable team player with a positive attitude.
