Job Summary

We’re seeking a vigilant Unarmed Security Officer to perform foot patrols, ensure safety, and provide outstanding customer service. This role emphasizes visibility, proactive observation, and professional communication to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular foot patrols of assigned areas to maintain visibility and deter incidents

Monitor access points and enforce site security policies

Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns

Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally

Use verbal de-escalation to manage and resolve conflicts

Provide First Aid/CPR assistance when required

Document all incidents and activities in the Belfry Reporting System

Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding site conditions and safety concerns

Qualifications

Valid Washington State Unarmed Security License (Guard Card)

CPR/First Aid, OC/Pepper Spray, Handcuffing, and Narcan certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Minimum of 3 years of experience in unarmed security, customer service, or related field required

Excellent communication, observation, and problem-solving skills

Dependable, punctual, and professional in demeanor and appearance

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
