Job Description
We are seeking a Weekend Assistant Property Manager for our upscale apartment community in Westerville. Prior leasing experience is desired. This job requires working 2 or 3 days a week (16 or 24 hours total) and 2 weekends per month (18 hours total). Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 10-6, Saturday 11-4 and Sunday 12-4.
The role of Assistant Property Manager includes the following:
· Giving apartment tours.
· Following up with prospective residents.
· Preparing the traffic report.
· Relaying accurate information to current and potential residents according to the Federal Fair Housing laws.
· General office duties such as filing, answering phones/emails, and replenishing office supplies.
· Creating lease agreements.
· Entering data into our property management software program (Propertyware).
Key qualities we desire in a candidate include:
· Displaying enthusiasm when interacting with current and potential residents.
· Dependable and punctual.
· Capability to go up and down stairs easily.
· Attention to details and accuracy.
· Being engaged in communication and all other work duties.
· Technologically literate (Word, Excel, Docs, etc.).
· Can work independently.
