IT QA Analyst

Overview

We are looking for an IT QA Analyst to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for backend and UI components across web and mobile platforms.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure product quality and performance.

Utilize JIRA to manage defects, track progress, and collaborate with development and business teams.

Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend processes.

Test APIs for functionality, reliability, and performance using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Document test results, identify issues, and provide recommendations for resolution.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.

Proficiency in JIRA, SQL, and API testing tools.

Experience with UI testing across web and mobile platforms.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
