We are Kats Recruitment, a specialist agency sourcing multilingual talent for healthcare and customer-service roles across Europe. We are now partnering with leading residential care homes in Ireland who are seeking dedicated and compassionate Caregivers/Healthcare Assistants to join their teams.

Role Summary

As a Caregiver, you will support the care homes mission to provide high-quality person-centred care to older adults. You will work closely with nursing staff and management, ensuring residents comfort, dignity and wellbeing in a warm, friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living tasks (personal hygiene, dressing, mobility support)

Encourage social interaction, meaningful activity and engagement

Support mealtimes, assist with feeding if required, and monitor food/fluid intake

Promote a safe environment help manage risks, support resident independence, attend to internal documentation

Collaborate with nursing team on resident care plans, report changes in condition

Uphold the homes values and commitment to dignity, respect and person-centred care

Requirements

Valid QQI Level 5 Certificate in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person OR equivalent certification & at least one year of paid experience.

Strong command of English (verbal and written). Employers may require a test such as IELTS/OET.

Ability to work a 40-hour week (shift-pattern including mornings/evenings/weekends)

Compassionate, patient, adaptable and proactive in a team setting

EU citizenship or valid work permit for Ireland
