Responsibilities

Uphold the Nurtur Core Values and Behaviors

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and attention to the needs of others

Focus continually on hospitality, guest care, and service excellence

Welcome guests and students and treat them with care and respect

Complete the Aveda retail service cycle for every guest

Check guests in and out for appointments, ensuring contact information is correct, bookings are appropriate, and rebookings are made

Follow all company guidelines and policies to properly open and close the retail area

Participate in and assist with Aveda and Nurtur corporate events such as career fairs, marketing events, Earth Month, and Beauty for a Cure

Requirements

Knowledge or interest in salon/spa services

Ability to work in a dynamic team environment

Willingness to learn and grow in the beauty industry

Fun, outgoing, and personable

Enjoys working with people in a high-touch culture

Self-motivated

Ability to educate students on professionalism and lead by example

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Walk, stand, or sit for up to 8 hours per day

Use hands to handle objects and reach with arms

Occasionally lift/move objects up to 30 pounds

Work in a minimal to moderate noise environment typical of a school setting
