Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our logistics team. The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for collecting, recording, and managing all shipping and packing information, including dimensions, weights, and carton/pallet details—while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and carrier requirements. This role will support day-to-day shipping operations, ensuring that orders are processed efficiently, documentation is accurate, and shipments are delivered on time
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
This position will require the employee to work overtime as needed. Overtime is scheduled based upon individual job responsibilities and the needs of the department and business.
The hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 7 am – 3:30 pm with overtime as necessary during the week and Saturdays.
Collect and record carton and pallet information, including dimensions, weight, and packaging details.
Prepare and maintain all shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, invoices, labels, customs documents, etc.).
Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to schedule and prepare outgoing shipments.
Ensure accuracy of shipping data entered into ERP or logistics management systems.
Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Verify compliance with customer requirements, carrier guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate shipping records for audit and reporting purposes.
Assist with inventory control and cycle counts related to outbound shipments.
Provide support with receiving needs when necessary
Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift 25 lbs. up to 50 lbs. independently
Excellent physical condition and coordination
High school diploma or GED preferred
1–3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination
Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation, and carrier requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics/ERP system
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and data entry skills
Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external partners
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners
Good organizational skills
Bilingual Spanish preferred

This position is in a warehouse environment
Pay/Compensation: Starting at $16.75 / hour
