Human Resources Manager

We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka looking for a Human Resources Manager for a leading FMCG / Manufacturing company based in Gampaha District. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all human resources activities within the factory. The role ensures the effective implementation of HR policies and programs that support a high-performance, compliant, and safe workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.

Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and manufacturing operations.

Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.

Lead employee engagement, training, and capacity-building initiatives.

Manage payroll administration, benefits, and attendance systems.

Drive disciplinary and grievance management processes.

Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and productivity.

Support management with workforce planning and organizational development.

Liaise with unions, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders where applicable.Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification is an advantage).

Minimum 10 – 12 years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Strong understanding of labor laws, occupational health and safety, and HR best practices.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
