What You'll Do:

Lead and grow the tax department by managing current business and driving new opportunities.

Develop trusted client relationships, providing strategic tax consulting and planning.

Supervise and mentor tax staff, enhancing their technical expertise and consulting abilities.

Review and manage the preparation of complex tax returns (individual, business, estate & trust).

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Analyze client needs, proactively proposing value-added solutions.

Oversee client engagements, managing budgets, deadlines, and expectations.

Expand business development efforts, building relationships to grow our client base.

Support firm initiatives and participate in leadership activities.

What You Bring:

CPA designation required

5+ years of experience at a regional or public accounting firm.

Strong expertise in tax compliance, planning, and consulting.

Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements efficiently.

Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, trusts, and estates

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple clients and projects efficiently

Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office

Strong client relationship and communication skills

Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.

Estate & trust tax experience is a plus.

Ability to drive business development and expand firm services.
