Electrical Journeyman

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Journeyman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in compliance with NEC codes. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and the ability to work independently on various projects.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues as they arise.

Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and local regulations.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.

Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites to ensure efficient project completion.

Conduct inspections to ensure that all electrical work meets safety and quality standards.

Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license (EL-07 or EL-02) is plus.

Strong knowledge of NEC codes and regulations.

Proven experience as an Electrical Journeyman or similar role.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.

Familiarity with electrical power distribution systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
