Azure DevOps Engineer

Azure DevOps Engineer – 6 Month Contract – Hybrid / Leicester – Outside IR35

VIQU have partnered with a leading organisation who are seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to support during a key digital transformation programme.

The Role

The successful Azure DevOps Engineer will support a large-scale cloud transformation programme, working with cross-functional teams to drive the build, deployment, and optimisation of Azure-based infrastructure.

Key Technical Skills & Experience :

Strong experience working within Azure DevOps (ADO)

Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) – Terraform

Automation and scripting skills – PowerShell

Proven background in Azure cloud infrastructure design and build

Experience designing and implementing new environments from scratch (not just maintaining existing systems)

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release management

Excellent communication and teamwork skills — ability to collaborate across distributed teams

Exposure to GitHub and GitHub Actions would be advantageous

Kubernetes / AKS exposure desirable but not essential

Job role: Azure DevOps Engineer

Job type: Contract

Duration: 6 months’ initial contract

Rate: £400 - £435 per day

IR35 status: Outside IR35 pending SDS Report

Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite in Leicester
