De afdeling Global Warehousing Services is verantwoordelijk voor ongeveer 60 magazijnen wereldwijd binnen ASML. Leveranciers leveren onderdelen aan de inbound-magazijnen, van waaruit ze worden verzonden naar de fabriek, andere magazijnen in de regio Veldhoven of wereldwijd. Er worden voorraadstrategieën gedefinieerd om de inventaris in elk magazijn te optimaliseren en aan de klantvraag te voldoen. Op basis van deze strategieën en de vraag moeten transfers tussen magazijnen worden geïnitieerd.

Je komt terecht in het Control Tower-team van de warehousing-afdeling. Dit team zorgt voor betrouwbare voorraad op de juiste locaties. Jij bent verantwoordelijk voor het plannen en initiëren van transfers tussen magazijnen in Nederland, volgens de vastgestelde bedrijfsregels. Het doel is om dit proces zoveel mogelijk te automatiseren, en jij speelt hierin een actieve rol.

Rol en verantwoordelijkheden

Je volgt een deeltijd hbo-traject: vier dagen per week werk je bij ASML, en één dag per week ga je naar school. Je krijgt een rol die aansluit bij de studie Logistics Management (HAN) of Technische Bedrijfskunde (Fontys). Ook krijg je begeleiding van een ervaren collega of mentor. Samen zorgen jullie ervoor dat alles soepel verloopt.

Als planner van intercompany transfers groei je naar de volgende verantwoordelijkheden;

Het aanmaken en uitvoeren van voorraadtransfers (intercompany transfers) in SAP.

Beheren van openstaande voorraadtransfers in SAP.

Oplossen van problemen met transfers en het stellen van prioriteiten.

Omgaan met problemen in gestandaardiseerde situaties.

Intensieve samenwerking met productieplanning, 3PL-partners en materiaalplanners.

Signaleren en initiëren van verbeteringen in je eigen werkwijze.

Introduction to the Job

ASML is a global leader in the chip industry. We build extremely advanced machines that enable chip manufacturers to produce faster and more energy-efficient microchips. The Global Warehousing Services department is responsible for ASMLs ~60 warehouses worldwide. Suppliers are delivering their parts to the inbound warehouses and from there parts are shipped to the factory or other warehouses in the Veldhoven region or to worldwide. Stocking strategies are defined to optimize the inventory in each warehouse to accommodate for each customers demand. Transfers between the warehouses need to be initiated based on the stocking strategy and the demand.

You will join the Control Tower team within the warehousing department. This team ensures reliable inventory at the right locations. You will be responsible for planning and initiating transfers between warehouses in the Netherlands, based on established business rules. The goal is to automate this process as much as possible, and you will play an active role in achieving that.

Role and responsibilities

You will follow a part-time HBO program: four days a week you’ll work at ASML, and one day a week you’ll attend school. Your role will align with the Logistics Management (HAN) or Industrial Engineering study program (Fontys). You’ll also receive guidance from an experienced colleague or mentor to ensure everything runs smoothly.

As an intercompany transfer planner, your upcoming responsibilities include:

Create and execute stock transfer orders (intercompany transfers) in SAP.

Manage the open stock transfer orders in the SAP system.

Solve issues on stock transfer orders with the capability to plan and set priorities of the transfers.

Ability to deal with problem involving standardized situations.

Work closely with the production planning department that are waiting for the parts, work closely with the 3PL to ensure on time delivery of the stock transfer orders, work closely with material planners that ensure on time delivery to ASML.

Identify and initiate improvements in your own way of working.
