The Palm Springs Unified School District has sixteen elementary schools, five middle schools, four comprehensive high schools, one continuation high school, alternative education programs, one independent study program, and several headstart/state preschools.

NO ONLINE TYPING CERTIFICATES WILL BE ACCEPTED) Comments and Other Information SUMMARY: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform varied and specialized clerical and administrative support duties for an assigned department or program; provide interpretation services for both oral and written communication between English and a designated second language; plan and organize office activities and coordinate flow of communications and information; prepare and maintain a variety of manual and automated records and reports related to assigned activities; communicate information to staff and the public.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be able to read, write and speak Spanish.
The ability to type 45 wpm.
Equivalent to graduation from high school and three years of clerical or administrative experience involving frequent public contact.
