Verify inbound shipments, check materials on pallets against the packing slip to ensure vendor product and quantities are correct, records and reports any discrepancies as needed.
Check inbound materials for damage and discrepancies, records and reports as necessary.
Communicate issues or discrepancies via email to internal customers and departments, including purchasing and project teams, as necessary.
Responsible for creating purchase orders (PO) in job management system and accurately receive materials to tote with RF scanner.
Communicates and corresponds with internal project and sales teams, escalates issues as needed.
Prioritize high importance orders and communicate with other teams and departments as needed.
Maintains working knowledge of all statuses in job management system and can easily navigate the system to perform needed work tasks.
Answers phone calls and respond to emails within 24 hours.
Research inventory, material and order discrepancies to achieve problem resolution.
Ensures DTS processes are followed and adhered to.
Other duties as assigned. Experience:
2-3 years of warehouse, inventory or project construction experience.
Experience with handheld computer equipment such as RF scanners.
Computer skills including Office365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat. Core Competencies:

High School Diploma or GED Essential Job Functions:
Lifting/Carrying: Frequently required to lift, carry, push, or pull products, parts, and materials weighing up to 75 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance or mechanical handling equipment.
Standing/Walking: Extended periods of standing and walking throughout the warehouse on concrete floors during the work shift.
Climbing/Balance: Occasional climbing onto equipment; ability to maintain balance while moving materials on elevated platforms or racking systems.
Stooping/Kneeling/Crouching: Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching to retrieve, stock, or handle products at floor and low-level shelving.
Reaching/Handling: Frequent reaching overhead, forward, and to the side; regular grasping and handling of materials, boxes, tools, and warehouse equipment.
Vision: Must have close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus to read labels, scan barcodes, and safely operate equipment.
Hearing/Speaking: Ability to hear instructions, safety signals, and warehouse equipment alarms; communicate effectively with team members and supervisors in a noisy environment.
Environmental Conditions: Work performed primarily in a warehouse environment with regular exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and moving equipment.
PPE Use: Required to wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (e.g., safety shoes, gloves, high-visibility vest, equipment safety harness) for extended periods.
