Shipping & Receiving Associate

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Verifies products prior to packaging and follows packaging instructions.

Prepares items for shipment, including completing shipping notices, bills of lading and any other required documents.

Determines shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods to meet shipping schedules, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.

Ensures accuracy, completeness, and condition of outgoing shipments.

Packages product according to work instructions.

Must be able to create advanced shipping notifications for applicable clients.

Assist production and assist other management personnel as needed. SKILLS and ABILITIES

Strong communicator.

Solid interpersonal skills.

Ability to multi-task.

Works well under pressure.

Computer literate.

MS Office knowledge.
