Senior Process Optimization Engineer - Protein Manufacturing

A leading top 4 U.S. poultry processor is seeking an experienced Process Optimization Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead lean manufacturing projects at our state-of-the-art facility. This role offers significant growth potential and the opportunity to make a substantial impact on operational excellence.Core Responsibilities:

Spearhead lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to optimize production workflows

Lead complex efficiency improvement projects and conduct detailed root cause analyses

Design and implement automation solutions and process modifications

Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to enhance productivity and reduce downtime

Develop and maintain labor standards while optimizing production capacity

Manage multiple projects ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery

Drive safety and ergonomic improvements across all initiativesRequired Qualifications:

Protein industry experience required; poultry processing experience strongly preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (exceptional non-degreed candidates with extensive protein industry experience will be considered)

3-5 years of relevant process optimization experience

Proven expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies

Proficiency in AutoCAD and process optimization tools

Strong project management and team collaboration skills
